Message	endcaps. There is no real point spending money on an intercooler upgrade when the performance increase over stock is going to be questionable at best and when you'll likely have stalled flow inside of the intercooler. To be honest, the top few inches of the design are non-functional IMO. If I were going to upgrade, I'd probably go with an intercooler that had a functional design, but I guess some people are more interested in 'show', even with intercoolers which are hidden beneath the front fascia.
